The chances of recovering the money he made from selling his properties are very slim. He made the right decision by trying to build something for himself, but as usual, life happened.
He should consider pivoting to something else like trading, YouTube automation, or AI-related jobs.
If he has done it before, he can do it again. A man may fall seven times, but he will rise again.
Opportunities do not come only once, so don’t let anyone deceive you.
Opportunities will come again.

My friend made about $75,000 end of last year and decided to build a house and buy a car, the problem now is money isnt flowing in as he thought, now hes stuck with an unfinished building and is at the verge of selling his car to keep things going. My advice for him was to sell the house instead.

“The price Nigerian influencers charge for content isn’t sustainable. Imagine wanting to patronize Sydney Talker and he tells you to pay ₦20 million for just one video. Shank tells me ₦12 million. I paid Ola of Lagos since last year till now and he still hasn’t fulfilled his contract; he’s still owing me six videos. Carter Efe is also still owing me three videos.”
— Fekomi states the reason he stopped using Nigerian influencers to promote his products.

To the NYSC members that passed out today.
Welcome to reality.
The next few months will show how prepared you are for the job market.
Many of you already applied for graduate trainee jobs. You have sent out your CVs and are waiting for positive outcomes.
But...
You need to ask yourself this question..
What area do I want to build my career in?
If you already have an answer to this. Your journey will be easier.
Some of your fellow corpers already answered this questions as undergraduates. They are ahead because they have started building on it.
That's why you have corpers who are done with ICAN/ACCA/CIPM/CIBN and other certifications.
Some of them already have a solid CV with worke experience gotten from internships and volunteering.
Some already have jobs waiting for them because if the work they put in while still in school.
Figure out what you want and start now.
The older you are, the more difficult it will be to compete because age limit is a thing in graduate trainee recruitments.
Enjoy your POP today. But remember, beyond the celebration, the pressure to succeed is already there.
Don't make it go higher.
Congratulations!

@UOmeya @powerfulbadeeu You can even register for nysc and not receive call up number on time. There are many factors that wastes people time in this country
English

@UOmeya @powerfulbadeeu This is exactly my case study right now, it is inconsiderable to put an age limit for entry role coz people graduating at age 24-25 is not our fault most times, NIGERIA HAPPENED!

“Those whose palm kernels were cracked for them by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble” - Chinua Achebe.
I’ve been seeing posts in support of employers in Nigeria using the 26-27 years benchmark for entry level job(read Graduate Trainee) in Nigeria by my younger colleagues in 9-5 & I laugh.
Let me deep-dive to one of the things that got me leaving Nigeria when I did. I finished NYSC in 2019 & was already pass the 27 years most employers of labour in Nigeria use as benchmark, with that, even before the race ‘s started, I’ve already been locked out of major top organizations of my choice, I did the maths for a plan B & went back to Akure (FUTA) for my MSc four days after my POP in April 2019 with the hope to finish strongly with a Distinction for my MSc & get a PhD or another Master’s degree overseas, I was lucky, all the plans worked out as planned, I did my 2nd & 3rd Masters degrees in Spain & Poland respectively.
By the time I was done with both, I was well over 30 years, luckily no such age barrier in EU, I applied for the Graduate Trainee of P&G in Supply chain & started my career with P&G before working as an XwF for Google & then currently with my current employer as a Global Clinical Supply chain Process Manager.
A dream that would have been impossible in my home country because there’s no legislation against these callous employers of labours.
I plead with you again my younger Colleagues defending this anomaly, look at it from another prism/angle, that you were lucky to be done with school/NYSC age 25 or lower doesn’t mean we all were.
