@startkyIeorton Poles hasn’t avoided top of DL market tho. Hes spent big money on Dayo, swear, and Jarrett. Hes also used draft capital DL like Pickens, Dexter, turner, booker, Robinson. Hes just poorly invested resources into the DL but it’s not like he’s ignored the DL room

The #Bears believe they're getting a steal with sixth-round defensive tackle Jordan van den Berg out of Georgia Tech. Several of his testing numbers hit the highest mark on the Bears' internal scouting scale. My sense is the Bears have plans for him beyond that of a typical sixth-round flier and believe he was one of more gifted defensive tackles in the draft.” -@JFowlerESPN via @espn espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

The Rams reportedly considered WR Makai Lemon and TE Kenyon Sadiq at No. 13, but found it "difficult to see either rookie providing an immediate impact" given their current depth. (via @TheAthletic)

@Esox52min @usaydkoshul Poles invested HEAVILY in both lines. D-line just hasn't panned out. Sweat: trade and big $$...good not great Dayo: big $$...tbd Grady: big $$...on down slide unfortunately Dexter: 2nd round pick He's also attempted to make trades for big names.

@GBraggsJr23 Try intermittent fasting. I didn't think I could do it...but after the first one (I usually do 48 hrs)...the become much easier. Tons of benefits health wise. Just add a bit of sea salt to your water for electrolytes.

Ryan Poles has now run 5 drafts for the Bears. Here's a snapshot of what positions he's invested his draft capital in.

What hurts Poles most isn’t anything that he did this weekend. Everything goes back to that 2025 FA class he absolutely regrets it lmaoo

The Chicago Bears traded picks 239 and 241 to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for No. 213 in the sixth round and selected Georgia Tech defensive tackle Jordan van den Berg.
