Kipsigis are actually very hospitable. There was a time my car broke down hapo Kamwosor a long Eldama Ravine. The guys organized to tow it to one of the houses nearby told me I can fix it from there anytime, gave me full accommodation in their house for free. Forever grateful

I stopped by a village in Samburu and asked if I could get drinking water. A mzee asked me to follow him. We got home and he asked food be served ignoring my protest. Being in Nairobi past few months, made me forget that some places, Ubuntu or being African is still normal
