@JimmySecUK That's a given right? With the CIA under Tulsi Gabbard and people of her thinking there's no way it's business as usual in the UK. There's been a misconception that cos they're 'people like us' they want what we want. But this current lot are not.

If the U.S. decides to act in a way that is fundamentally detrimental to British national interests, all aspects of the relationship between our two countries should be reassessed - including NSA, USAF, and the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System presence on UK soil.

We need to end the implied amnesty that is currently in place for illegal migrants in our country. Detain, deport. Do that, on the scale required, and the boats stop overnight.

Great opportunity here for the UK to actually put real money behind an exportable Tempest as an alternative to US 5th Gen tech

Russia couldn't bury Ukraine in 3 years. But it bought the US government in less than 30 days.

ft.com/content/2506b4… Zelensky - “Trump is living in a disinformation bubble” I have to agree. He is also being way too polite and that has to be respected. Personally I’m not sure who is advising Trump but whoever it is should be investigated.

Zelenskyy canceled elections, banned opposition parties, jailed critics, and shut down media he didn’t like but sure, let’s pretend he’s a beacon of democracy. If he can do all of those things and you still don’t see him as a dictator I don’t know how you can ask the public to expect any different from you after this post and the history of your party. Trump is right to call this out. The Ukraine war has been a money pit, draining Western taxpayers while Zelenskyy plays dictator with endless blank checks. And now, the Tories want to lecture us on leadership while they’ve spent years slashing our own military? If you were serious about defense, you’d stop sending billions abroad and start rebuilding Britain’s forces instead. Enough with the performative grandstanding.

President Zelenskyy is not a dictator. He is the democratically elected leader of Ukraine who bravely stood up to Putin’s illegal invasion. Under my leadership, and under successive Conservative Prime Ministers, we have and always will stand with Ukraine. President Trump is right that Europe needs to pull its weight - and that includes the UK. We need to get serious. The PM will have my support to increase defence spending - there is a fully funded plan to get to 2.5% sitting on his desk. That should be the bare minimum. Starmer should get on with it, get on a plane to Washington and show some leadership. We cannot afford to get this wrong.

Trump and his American oligarchs are now openly aligning themselves with Putin and his Russian oligarchs. This Putin-Trump alliance means abandoning our allies, supporting authoritarianism and undermining our democratic traditions.

@fjalladrengur @WarMonitor3 Because the original nuclear disarmament treaty from 30 years ago was signed with explicit US and British guarantees of defence. The wider EU should have done more for sure but remained far too optimistic about Russian motives. And some still are.

Kemi Badenoch's total silence on Ukraine is deafening. How low the Tories have fallen. Embarrassing, and disturbing. She's hoping to curry favour with the US right, but they'll throw her under the bus just like they have Farage
