Sending fewer people to jail is an entirely legitimate goal. Striking that - when trying to be elected - Labour refused to say they wanted to do it. Now they have a large majority, they appoint a prisons minister to make it a goal. The outcome is right, the method dishonest.

Anyone who thinks they can deliver self driving cars needs to take one to Rome and pit it against Italians on the roads there. Me and Google maps did alright though.

The response was basically ‘sorry, can’t help’. So I may be in for an uncomfortable couple of weeks. And it could have easily been avoided if they’d only let me know about the invalid test results. But at least it is still (mostly) free - it could be MUCH worse.

I love the NHS … but arrrgghh it can be frustrating sometimes. I am on medication which requires me to have 2-monthly blood tests. My prescription ran out this week, so I requested more online as per usual. Had a call today from doctors saying they won’t issue my repeat …

I've not driven to Ely for a while... The absolute state of the A10 around there (and especially Littleport) is unbelievable. @CambsCC seriously, the whole thing needs rebuilding at this point

@StigAbell Yes I always use it. Dishwashers do a pre rinse to clear any coffee/tea other fluids so the main wash starts with clean water.

Settle a dispute at casa Abell. I always put the dishwasher tablet in this little compartment. I was stunned to watch my wife just chuck it into the main body of the dishwasher saying “nobody uses that bit”. Of course they do? Or don’t they?

I can't believe the amount of people in the comments who think this might be real 🤣🤣🤣 - it's *obviously* CGI - hitting the deck from that "landing" would destroy the plane - why is a Russian plane landing on a carrier with US jets on the deck?

Hard to get a good shot but the sliver of moon between Venus and Jupiter tonight was quite something.
