Maybe this is why I hated 13-15 so much
It’s the way that the conclusion didn’t build up on ANYTHING that beast yeast previously built
Not even power wise were they built up! The ancients weren’t even equals to the beasts in power and needed the elementals help AND sugar swan

Just so everyone knows Even if I believe Beast yeast episodes 13-15 are bad I think the rest of beast yeast was quite good & are the most enjoyable episodes of the entire game for me I love the themes explored in those episodes even if they weren’t expanded on in later episodes

On top of that Lily’s themes of neurodivergence and disability of multiple kinds are something that’s rarely ever covered in characters let alone in a woman and with such depth. She’s an enigma that was ultimately handled extremely poorly in the end

Man even if you like the Ancients they were painfully ineffective. They didn't beat down the Beasts, the Elementals did. They didn't foil DEC's plot, Espresso did. They didn't defeat the Witch, Lily did. They didn't even get one symbolic final group battle side by side 😮💨

Tbh all ancients as a group feel forced now. For example we never saw their bond before war,from where we could understand why they care so much about each other. And their friendship is horribly shown even currently in plot lol.

Thinking about the beginning of beast yeast and man.... Elder Faerie's death was the most pointless thing ever. Gave his life powder to White Lily just for them to kill her off as well. Sure, in the grand scheme of things it allowed them to defeat DE but still..... I'm so sad man
