Great discussion at @LearningDisEng conference today and thanks to those who shared their experiences of hospital with us. Lots of similarities with the Making Positive Moves findings.

A great presentation from @InderSawhney1 about the impact on of an enhanced physical health clinic on improving cancer screening rates for people with learning disabilities. Further research needed particularly on cervical cancer.

Sadie and Mel reflecting on recruiting to the DESMOND-ID diabetes study at @HPFT_Research showcase. It was important to take time to build a relationship and trust prior to consent. More research visits were sometimes needed. Crucial to consider and budget for this in research.
