I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit. My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently. So, here goes.

Dan ini calibrated based on 1:1 discussion. Jadi walaupun mereka di kumpeni sekarang levelnya senior, tapi kalau ketika ngobrol behaviornya kaya mid level maka aku mark as mid level Makes sense karena itu saatnya orang-orang merasa cukup jago untuk punya kesadaran bahwa mereka butuh ilmu Agak disayangkan karena aku mengharapkan lebih banyak senior/staff level yang join karena mereka yang actually lebih dekat dengan Silicon Valley level 💵 Persebaran gaji paling banyak sekitar 10-30 juta. A trend… Use ORM, write terrible DAO layers, face problems, blame ORM. Use Java, create bad abstractions, face problems, blame Java. Use k8s, write complex configurations, face problems, blame k8s. Use Postgres, design suboptimal table structure, face problems, blame Postgres. Use Docker, create bloated images, face problems, blame Docker. Basically blame technology, hide skill issues and move on.

I analyzed it back in 2022, and don't see this trend being reversed at all: newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/native-vs-cr… A few Staff+ level native mobile engineers I know at Big Tech are moving away from native mobile, into fullstack or Ai engineering, due to lack of professional growth and opportunities.
