@hvmestarr i didnt think it was funny. I thought it was pathetic which is sort of satisfying to me bc Homelander deserves to die like a pathetic coward. I just wished Homelander did something super unhinged to enchance that experience I dont expect Kripke to deliver at this point ig.

if you say you like the finale and one of the reasons is just bc homelander dies, you’re bland and boring. kripke ruined it with the “i’ll eat your shit” “i’ll suck your dick” bullshit. im personally not a fan of that. it makes the audience laugh when the scene isn’t funny AT ALL

@CalebTortured A trains last moments were great. Karl Ubran killed it especially in the finale he did an amazing job in here. Hughie and Butchers last interaction was a bit corny but fine i guess. It would have worked better if it didnt feel rushed

People acting like the ending of The Boys was the worst thing ever put to screen are trying too hard, it was decent. That being said the marketing should've been more honest

@GwennyOops the problem isnt just specifically about making a prequel series tho. Amazon didnt write the show Kripke and his writers did. They still decided how much hamfisted they wanted the prequel series is to the main show

@GwennyOops One of the problems w season 5 is that they barely used the buildups from previous seasons and Gen V. Writing a show is hard ,no shit, but it seems like they didnt even try here. Season 5 feels like theyre more focused on the next thing to do.
