Instead of trying to build an audience... Build an association with a specific word or idea. • James Clear: Habits • Brené Brown: Vulnerability • Codie Sanchez: Boring businesses • David Perell: Personal Monopoly • Wes Kao: Spiky Point Of View When you are associated with a specific word, phrase, idea, or movement, that connection spreads. As it spreads, it gets stronger. That association is what actually builds the audience – and a very targeted audience at that.

Use @CalendarBridge to auto block meetings on multiple calendars. i.e. Company A schedules a meeting, CalendarBridge automatically adds the meeting to Company B calendar (as private) and vice versa. Also, have CalendarBridge add the meeting to a personal calendar so you have a single source of truth without duplicate meetings and connect it to @morgencalendar or @getAkiflow for time boxing your day.

@GenuineRex I just forward meetings to my Google calendar. Is there a better way?

Some developers claim to be “over-employed” (working multiple full-time remote jobs). I've worked with a couple people who appeared to be trying it. They were ultimately let go for poor performance. It's not just unethical - it's VERY hard to pull off. As a consultant, I work with 4-6 companies a week. I work 5-20 hours for each client. Switching between them is tricky. Scheduling meetings is even trickier. What do you say to your boss when you have a conflict with another job? It would be horribly stressful. Not ethical. Not worth it.

More and more, I want to learn from people who don't give advice. They have some interviews, some podcasts. But they did it the hard way- so they hesitate teaching it. 100,000 hours on details no one will ever see. Their magic is the realistic result, of unrealistic effort.

Struggle to sleep? Use the 1-2-3 routine: • Avoid phone screens 1 hour before bed • Avoid stimulating work 2 hours before bed • Avoid eating 3 hours before bed This lets your body and brain relax so you can fall asleep.
