Smell smoke this morning? Its coming from a wildfire outbreak in Ontario. While it should not impact air quality much today, smoke at the surface could increase Wednesday into Thursday, potentially reducing visibilities and air quality. High temperatures may also be limited.

A string of wildfires that has erupted across Northern Minnesota and Southern Ontario is going to be a major player in our air quality here over the next few days...

Relative humidity values typically drop with hotter temperatures. Dewpoints are more telling on how high and uncomfortable the humidity actually is outside.

A stronger ridge pushed this NW flow event further north over New England and near the Canadian Border on Tuesday. But the guidance was still useful at sniffing this pattern and severe potential nearly a week out.
