@StevenErtelt Euthanasia as well. I know it's hard for people to grasp, but go on some message boards with nurses sometimes. I've seen the shift over the years. It's insane.

Love this, encouraged and challenged by it.

Last August I saw a cute college girly playing with the little kids in the sanctuary after church so I approached her and introduced myself and invited her over for dinner. (We live in a small college town) Turns out, college girlies love to eat dinner you cook for them and just in general come over to talk and visit. She brought several friends with her most times and I got to know a handful of them during the school year. Sometimes they brought some guys along who always had good theological discussions and questions for Brad. She and some of the other girls would sometimes text me asking for prayer and advice or to ask how they could pray for me. They saw me host, prepare dinner, bathe and put the kids to bed, clean up, interact with my husband, and show up at church every time the doors were open. They saw me tired, happy, stressed, and content. In May, I had them over one last time before they left for home and summer mission trips and they gave me the sweetest handwritten letters and gifts. I’ve already been talking with them about when they arrive back for school. The relationship has already grown strong roots and it won’t be hard at all to include them in our family life at least once a week once school starts. Anyway, I’m saying all this to say that August is next month and you might have some new college kids in your church who could use a free hot meal and access to a family who includes them when theirs is far away. You can just walk up to them and introduce yourself and end up with the sweetest handwritten letters by next May. You could be a blessing to someone’s child who is far from home and in the process end up being blessed yourself.

DEI began infiltrating in 1997. At my residency program, I was in the last class of intellectual heavyweights. 1997 was the first year gender and skin color became as important as academic achievement at my program. So I would say don’t trust an MD who graduated less than 30 years ago.

When I was in Medical School back in the 90s there was a fair amount of far left influence. Back then in my curriculum it was called "Medical Humanities". But it was nothing like today. My advice to people is to not see any doctor who graduated less than 20 years ago. And even then, check them out. If they are left wing, run away.

Which would you choose if you could only keep one year-round? (1) Standard Time (more daylight in the morning, earlier sunsets) (2) Daylight Saving Time (darker mornings, more daylight in the evening)

I thank God for my time fighting a war. It gave me: 1) Much thicker skin. After you've literally been shot at, and thought for sure you were about to die, things like emotional manipulation and mean comments on social media don't really bother you. 2) It gave me perspective. My calibration for what it truly an emergency, and therefore my emotional response, now has a reference point of existential import. I wish more American suburbanites could experience this. 3) It helps me think generationally. After you've almost died a few times, you understand how your own life matters a lot less than you thought, and that what really matters, what truly lasts is building for God's glory a legacy that can outlast you and any bullet that takes you. 4) It's really, really hard to intimidate me. I would rather die than fail. I have willingly laid my life down a few times for something bigger; God, in His sovereign grace, spared me. He will not always. So my days are numbered, and I've accepted this -- and that far overshadows threats, mockery, and intimidation. I just don't care. To quote Louis L'Amour, what I've endured has put my bark on. Thank you, Lord. We need more men with the bark on. Then, women like Justice Barrett wouldn't have to be the ones in the fight.
Fox News@FoxNews

NEW: Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett details the chilling threats her family has faced, revealing the terrifying moment her 12-year-old son discovered a bulletproof vest in her bedroom during the fallout of the Dobbs leak. Barrett also recounted a recent "swatting" incident at her home and receiving threatening anonymous deliveries, warning that while federal judges continue to do their jobs without fear or favor, the current threat level is "really high." "I didn't expect that performing this service was going to put me in the position of explaining to my children what a bulletproof vest was, and why I had to wear one."

So I had someone contact me late last week about a home library of books they were getting rid of and wanted me to come look at. When people say this I never quite know what to expect, I’ve had “library” mean anything from one to five or six boxes. Well, this house was literally a library. Every room, excluding the bathroom, was lined with floor to ceiling shelves packed with books. So far I have acquired the entire Harvard classics library, all of Dickens, all of Rudyard Kipling in leather bound hardback, many volumes of art, travel, music, history, photography, poetry. A signed set of John L Stoddard’s travel lectures and signed Intimate papers of colonel House volumes I-IV plus so much more. I brought my 12 yo along and we had such a time going through everything. Not all are up on the website yet, but will be soon.

@NateAFischer She literally saw Kavanaugh attacked relentlessly two years before her appointment and thought nothing would happen to her? So naive. We need justices who understand the time we’re in and what this country faces.

@NateAFischer I'm starting to think she really is that naive. She doesn't seem diabolical, so it has to be that.

Thursday night, President Trump is going to show how the 2020 election was stolen. What will happen when it's proved Biden was installed illegitimately?
