@edujdw I totally agree that this is unacceptable. It causes incredible stress to teachers and parents as well because they want their students/children to be alright.

With a grandaughter sitting GCSEs, I wonder why we have to reduce good students to tears and immense stress that many adults would reject? The expectations are immense across EVERY subject. It's 'perform' or you're a failure. Why do we do this to children?

@edujdw @PeterSweden7 I’m a bit worried that so many people have liked this misinformation already. It is important to know the science before making statements!

@PeterSweden7 But what you have described is NOT gene therapy, the mRNA has no effect on any cell's DNA and it is a vaccine as all vaccines 'trick' the body into having an immune response. Stop spreading misinformation.

I am not "anti-vax". I am anti-mRNA. They inject a synthetic code into your body that tricks your cells into producing the spike protein. It is not a vaccine. It is a gene therapy with no long term safety data. It is just common sense to not want to be a test subject.

@StephanieOs There was a reason why I retired! I will do a bit of supply in January and February if schools are open. If it is too stressful I just stop again x

So…. Teachers who have retired or left the profession are supposed to volunteer to go back into classrooms which are poorly ventilated, to replace staff who are falling ill…and risk catching Covid?

@doctor_oxford I am a key worker and tried to get a test today. Apparently I need a letter from the local authorities with my name to get a test

Already we are seeing new cases of COVID-19 in our ICUs. The wards are beginning to fill up again. And right now, the virus is spreading who knows where because the government - inexcusably, unforgivably - can’t even manage to test suspect cases. This ineptitude is scandalous.
