Trump getting involved in college business just created more confusion. Instead of doing things the right way and forcing the leadership to find a resolution. He wants to executive order like he’s a KING to protect the conferences/NCAA and his golfing buddies power. Now schools have to decide do they ignore the presidential order or a court order that has already ruled on these matters? He knows it will get challenged in court and lose unless they can get a judge on the payroll. Now he can say he did “something” but the idiot judges and whacky system won’t let him fix it because “he knows best”. Smh.

@Kim_Jong_Ilness @georgewrighster @mpw16 You are referring to NIL deals. I am saying that players should sign contracts making them employees of a school. NIL deals can never be capped, you cant tell Andy Reid or Patrick Mahomes they have State Farm commercial limits. NIL is seperate from "Employees of the school"

@mpw16 @Kim_Jong_Ilness It won’t hold up in court. He knows that. The only answer is for the leadership to figure out how to get a CBA. The conferences leadership and ncaa don’t want to seed power to 1 organization.

@ImDatFish @mpw16 @georgewrighster You’re telling me (outside of the make believe NIL agents) people actually enjoy seeing players transfer to 5 schools in 5 years and hold their schools hostage every year??

@Nick1112 @Kim_Jong_Ilness @georgewrighster I don’t disagree that it will lose in the court. My original point was that george has TDS. Secondly, yes…he’s the only one trying to do something about it. Right or wrong.

@mpw16 @Kim_Jong_Ilness @georgewrighster Except it has to be done the right way. George is right, this will lose in court. Every suit against the NCAA regarding transfer limits has lost. The only way this stands is if the players collectively bargain this away.

@Kim_Jong_Ilness @georgewrighster Georgey has TDS and is looking to bang on Trump. He wants it done the “right way.” Like the NCAA or Congress is going to get anything done? 95% of CFB fans want this. I’m not a Trump guy. But this is the best thing he’s done during his 5+ years in office.

@georgewrighster @mpw16 Everything you said is incorrect The NCAA has been bent over backwards by lawyers (I hate the NCAA and am not trying to defend it) But seriously the transfer limit needed to be put back in place, having to recruit your own roster to stay is ridiculous. CFB is the wild west rn

@RossDellenger All conferences should follow. It causes too many headaches for the playoff picture

Alabama’s AD joins a growing chorus of coaches and administrators in support of eliminating conference football championship games. Here’s a 16-month-old story on an inevitability: the end of league title games bit.ly/3ZA8938

@mpw16 He's doing it to control the market from dumping and keeping oil prices low...at the cost is causing major confusion in the economy. I understand keeping ambiguity during a war, but not from his position as president It has economical consequences

I won't believe any report on peace talks unless it comes directly from Iran. US gov keeps saying talks are taking place only for Iran to deny such claims. Is the US gov just trying to keep the market up and oil prices lower?

@mpw16 I agree with you completely. The gov in Iran is shattered. If thats the case, investors should then know that the US is trying to contact legit leadership in iran for peace, and call everyone else rebels. Not just blindly say we're having peace talks when we're not

@clintoptions My guess is we’re talking to “new” leadership. Or at least who we want to be in control. Old leadership will still be around to disrupt. In fact, old leadership might tell the US they want a ceasefire…then they could bomb the hell out of Israel the next day

I don't trust either gov. I especially wouldn't trust literally anything else coming out of Iran. But when it comes to peace talks, the amount of times we've been told they are taking place only for Iran to deny them has been astonishing and extremely misleading. I wouldn't believe anything until Iran has confirmed talks are indeed taking place
