I’d like to raise a genuine concern/constructive feedback about the current state of Trials & whether Bungie is fully aware of what’s happening in the playlist as of recent? Anyone familiar with my stream knows I consistently maintain a positive attitude & actively promote Destiny because I truly want people to enjoy the game. However, it has become increasingly difficult to do so when nearly every match turns into a 1v3 scenario (lobby balance) , matchmaking frequently places solo players against duos (duos shouldn’t be a thing imo) , & teammates openly admit they don’t care about winning? Many players are INTENTIONALLY jumping off the map just to end matches faster, because Tier 5 rewards drop regardless of performance? At that point, winning, or even going to the Lighthouse, feels meaningless when Tier 3 rewards drop there. There is no point for “Flawless” .. what does that mean now? That completely undermines the purpose of the mode.. and the result is now a toxic environment that discourages both new & returning players. When viewers ask me, “Is Trials worth playing?” I struggle to answer honestly. Streaming it in its current state often pushes people away rather than inviting them back. Trials no longer feels like a pinnacle experience; it feels like a low-risk activity where players jump in for 5–10 minutes, collect free loot, & move on. Is this the bar for Trials now? Is this what we are settling for? This is genuinely disheartening. Trials used to represent risk vs reward, prestige, & meaningful competition. It was healthy! Now it feels like skilled players are actively punished for trying, while effort & performance no longer matter. That shift removes the identity of what Trials was meant to be. The disrespect to PvP players is constant. I know it can feel like I’m speaking into the void, but this matters to me. Destiny has always meant a great deal to me, & I’ve consistently spoken highly of the game because I want it to succeed. Seeing so many players share the same negative experience is painful, especially as a content creator who wants to advocate for the game, not feel embarrassed by its current state. I love Bungie & Destiny, this game will always have a place in my heart. That’s exactly why it’s frustrating when it feels like community feedback on obvious issues isn’t being acknowledged or acted upon. Moments like this genuinely make me consider stepping away, not out of anger, but because I don’t want to lose the joy the game once gave me. Thank you to my community for continuing to support me regardless of what I stream. Your support means everything. Comments of “it’s just a game” .. are useless. No, this is & has been my passion for a long time just like others, especially as streaming is my livelihood. I care & will give constructive feedback, as you should too. 🤍 @DestinyTheGame @A_dmg04
