@javarevisited I would only use uuids for ids that are exposed through an attack service to protect against enumiration attacks. But would use incrementing ids for pks to improve performance. Also depends on the database used but afaik most databases do better with autoincreamnting keys.

Tech Lead tells you: "Let’s use UUID everywhere instead of auto-increment IDs." Will you agree?

نصيحة لأي شخص مبتدئ او يتعلم تطوير الألعاب في يونيتي ‼️ لا تبدأ اي مشروع بدون ما يكون مدعوم / (backed) من قيت هب (GitHub) قيت هب عبارة عن وسيلة حفظ مشروعك … لا تعتمد على يونيتي ابدا في الحفظ !!

@KewCogs @r0ktech 🤣i was fresh out of college and i was focused on hardware and hated software development. Total noob. I knew about recursion in theory, but didnt know how to use it. I think the interviewer liked that i was honest and didnt google the answer (it was a take home task)

Java Stream Interview ☕ What happens here? List<Integer> list = List.of(1,2,3); list.stream() .map(x -> x * 2); Why no output?

@javarevisited Containers share the host os and kernal. Thats why its lightweight and fast. A full vm gives full os isolation which improves the security boundary and gives choices on which os to run.

Interviewer: If Docker containers are lightweight, why do we still use virtual machines?

@SumitM_X No, because of this. Both methods lock the same object. So thread 2 has to wait for thread one to finish to get lock.

Say we have two threads, "Thread1" & "Thread2". If Thread1 is executing in method 1, can Thread2 then execute in method 2?

@SumitM_X A static block can throw an exception. String is immutable due to the way the jvm works with them. They are in a string pool to improve efficiency, so if the same string is refrenced by diffrent object we cant have an ovject mutating it, can we? Thread safty. Boom. Doubly
