Destiny on why you shouldn't COURT to the FAR LEFT with Tim Miller 👀🚨 "The Majority Report, Kyle Kulinski, Krystal Ball and Breaking Points, The Young Turks, Hasan" "They're so openly HOSTILE... Weren't even supporting Kamala for president... This was the easiest GED level question"

@AlexH0128 Y’all are missing context. And should blame the two Democrats that stopped us from being able to do what we needed to do to provide more for the American people and that’s Manchin and Sinema.

@mint87BuickGNX We have exit polling data. Foreign policy, which would include I/P polled at like 3-5% for importance. Nobody cared about Gaza. The vote was against an economy that didn't/couldn't recover faster than it did. It's why people are flocking back to Dems right now, Trump is worse.

@BulwarkOnline @Timodc @SarahLongwell25 First and foremost she cant let Israel use Jewish Americans as shields. The assumption has to be that Americans are Americans first and Israel is fair games. That reflex she has implies Jewish Americans have a duel loyalty to Israel.

"I could think of 1000 other things I would rather Democrats pick fights about now. Like, why him right now?" "Because he's making their life harder." @Timodc and @SarahLongwell25 spar over one of the biggest questions facing Democrats right now: what to do about Hasan Piker?

I don't know who the best candidate is to win this district is because, like you, I don't live in the district. My point is that the goal is to win the general election and beat a Republican who has been hard to beat. Not to find the purest candidate for the tests you have set out.
David Hogg 🟧@davidhogg111

And you think the best candidate to beat Valadao is Jasmeet Bains?? The candidate who shares 53 corporate donors with Valadao (including big pharma, who she helps in the assembly), was the only dem to vote against prop 50, and skipped a vote on making ICE agents take their masks off? Proud to back @Villegas_CA22 BECAUSE he can beat Valadao.

If this ends with European and Asian and African countries paying Iran to get oil through the strait, that is actually a fairly stable arrangement because all parties will have an incentive to keep it stable (except of course Israel and the U.S., the real source of global instability)
Saagar Enjeti@esaagar

BTW when Trump says to other countries to "go get your own oil": They won't do so militarily. They will pay Tehran's hostage toll consolidating their control over the Strait and massively enriching the regime

@WajahatAli I live in the United States and I think it's bad if our politicians center the interests of Israel over the interests of Americans, and I feel the same way about the anti-liberal left endlessly forcing this shit down our throats. Palestine is not the only thing that matters

Why Can't Democratic Leadership Move Left on Israel and Palestine? Democratic leadership continues to ignore its own base & the majority of Americans who have moved away from Israel, instead opting for political suicide and courting AIPAC and anti-Palestinian hawks. @BriannaWu I also really don't understand your point about overpolicing, maybe because I'm not a progressive. Are you arguing the Israeli government should allow settlers to behave violently toward Palestinians in the West Bank? That seems depraved to me.

Progressives seem able to grasp ideas like overpolicing but are unable to apply those concepts to the West Bank. Here’s the truth. Judea and Samaria are the historic homeland of the Jewish people. Jordan briefly held this land after 1948 but it was never recognized as theirs. Since Israel recaptured it in the Six-Day War, international law has often been used as a weapon against Israel as it tries to keep its people safe. There are about 50 Muslim-majority countries. There is one Jewish state. And as politically incorrect as it sounds, many politicians in those Muslim-majority countries gain power the same way racist Mississippi politicians in the Deep South once did, by demonizing Israelis. There are regular terror attacks in the West Bank against Israelis living there, which Israel considers legal under the Oslo Accords. Progressives don’t seem to care. Their best plan seems to be for Jews to roll over and die.

Whether you support the war with Iran or not, let’s be honest about one thing: No one knows how this ends. No expert. No analyst. No politician. I know this personally. I lived in Tehran during the Iran–Iraq war (1980–1988). Eight years of uncertainty. Eight years of fear. There’s a sound from that time that has never left my mind. A voice over the loudspeaker saying: “Tavajoh, tavajoh, alāmate ghermez.” توجه توجه، علامت قرمز Attention. Attention. Red alert. Signaling that enemy aircraft or missiles have been detected. As a child, that was the most terrifying voice imaginable. I wouldn’t wish that sound on my worst enemy. War destroys everything in its path: • Lives • Economies • Families • Mental and emotional health • And it creates generations seeking revenge for loved ones lost It’s ugly. It’s unpredictable. And it rarely ends the way anyone expects. Emotions are high right now. Everyone has an opinion. But beyond politics and social media debates, one truth remains: War is hell. I pray this ends as quickly as possible with the fewest casualties possible. I pray that our leaders make wise decisions that don’t escalate this into something bigger than it already is. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. I’m hopeful all matters will be considered while making decisions the next few days and for it to not escalate into something that we may regret. Thank you God!

The Democratic Party has to wrestle with this. Our largest figure to emerge post-Trump II clearly hates Jews and is unbothered by their slaughter. If Andrew Tate had won the NYC primary, there would be 1000 articles about our viability with women. Yet, no one cares. How are we not now an explicitly anti-Jew political party? How can we claim to be about inclusion while celebrating the horrors of October 7th? Why can so few of us have even see this, let alone say anything?

@rolandsmartin @mehdirhasan You don't have to do this Roland. She threw her chance at the presidency away campaigning as a warhawk with Liz Cheney and confirming to continue a genocide. She earned that loss and her policy is just wrong. Why cant that be adressed?
