@PartyhatsICP If he can see that he can scam money out of it, then we might see a god candle - but inevitibly it would be a kiss of death for icp. The guy has no interest in the betterment of the internet / the world. Actually the exact opposite.

Thanks to all the $ICP community members that posted heartwarming messages & comments on my last post. Remember, the vision of the World Computer is to build the future... together... I want to be part of that future. As mentioned in my last post, this is not a goodbye. I will continue posting but: -I am disengaging & muting trolls -I am going to prioritize meaningful connections -I will spend more time with my family and take breaks when needed (a couple of weeks for Xmas for sure) -I will post whenever I feel or have something to say. Can someone explain to me in layman’s terms why $ICP has the greatest tech, the only true web3, but we’re seeing zero adoption and the price keeps falling? The only ai project on chain, the only project that is actually decentralized.. I don’t understand this.. I know Dfinity is selling a lot to pay for the army of developers plus it’s inflationary at the current burn rate.. But my question is why are not true developers interested in bringing projects to the Internet computer? It’s literally cheaper and unhackable 100% uptime.. Help me understand..

@icpinformer_x @miadey @themattlaird Yes, this would surely get a lot of retail interested. I know caffeine can program motoko for us, but I know a bit of php so it would be nice to have that familiarity there. I suppose dfinity has a bigger vision, but php could be a good stepping stone for many

@mr____snrub @miadey @themattlaird Long term, I think we need to get PHP core developers to learn about ICP. Or more likely, we need Dfinity to allocate some developers who can contribute to PHP to utilize ICP's platform.

@icpinformer_x @themattlaird PHP 8.5 is already ported and working! We will have Wordpress and Laravel working in the next weeks as planned! We just passed the last hurdle, 40b cycles limit. Q1 2026 we will have hosting capability.

@dominic_w The correct use of "whose" here makes me even more bullish on $ICP. I'm not even joking. It says a lot.

Why DFINITY has been different, from 2015 on — We held this truth to be self-evident: sufficiently advanced blockchain is just "internet cloud." Then we developed ICP through years of R&D at scale, rather than rushing to pump a token. Substance whose time is coming.

I have built a complete ordering system for a Vietnamese noodles restaurant. Staff will take order using their phones. orders will be sent to kitchen. and others functions. using @caffeineai $icp @dehypokriet @JanCamenisch @dominic_w
