It’s dinner time. I was given an in-app code for a Panda Express. I decided I wanted Panda Express. I download the app. Oh cool. I don’t have to make an account. I can just use one of my Gmail accounts. I decide to use my high school Gmail. This would prove to me undoing. I fill out my & my wife’s order. I checkout. It has a place to input my name… but already has a name: “RANDOM ASS DUDE” First name RANDOM ASS. Last name DUDE. The Panda Express app has pulled my Gmail name that I made in high school. No worries. It allows me to erase and change the name. I change it to my real first & last name. I put in the order. It tells me it’s ready in less than 15 minutes. I drive over and come in to the store. “I’m here for a pickup order,” I say. “What’s the name?” the female cashier says. I give her my first & last name. …. “I’m sorry sir. I don’t have an order under that name.” She says. “Oh.” I say. “I got a text saying it was ready.” “What’s the number?” I give her my phone number. She looks it up. She looks at me. She looks around. “Sir, I don’t have an order under that name. Is it possibly under another name?” Oh no. “Uh…” I say. “Well… it could be under RANDOM ASS DUDE.” Big smile on her face. I’ve been had. She rings me up, but then gets pulled away by her manager. A couple minutes later another girl comes over. “Sorry, sir. What’s the name on your order?” Oh boy. “Well…” I say. “It’s probably under RANDOM ASS DUDE.” Big smile on her face. “Ah, so YOU are RANDOM ASS DUDE, huh?” “I guess I am.” I say. “Here you go. You have a good day sir.”

@JadeAtrophis I will not accept the revisionism on BotW and TotK. I can accept there’s flaws and room to improve but calling them bad is a terminally online take.

BotW is very different from any other Zelda game before in a way that needed to happen, while also being quite good, but in doing so becomes shallower in several ways But for their very first attempt at this new sort of game, I quite like it

The Dragonball Z cell saga was peak anime in America for us. Not sure you would understand just how popular this was when it first aired in America, people were SO pumped to see what would happen next with Dragonball Z.

PSA: I’ve been focusing on podcasts so uploads haven’t been a primary focus. More importantly though, a YouTube rep told me years ago that the “Gun” in my name was a problem algorithmically and I really don’t know what to do about that 🤷‍♂️

DDR Mario Mix is the funniest Mario game because throughout the whole game, the OST consists of dance remixes of old Mario songs… and then the second to last stage in the story mode hits you with THIS banger 😭

Alright, Mixtape: Folks that thought I was down on E33 better hold on. Some nice aesthetics and polish can do little to save a ‘narrative’ based ‘game’ with virtually no narrative or gameplay. Do you like the 90s as (re) imagined through the lens of 2020s bullshitery? Is High Fidelity not quite up-it’s-own-ass enough in your estimation? Are you eager to hear songs you barely recognize trumpeted by characters you grow to actively hate all while enduring hours of Bill and Ted talking about nothing? Have I got the ‘game’ for you. Get Edith Finch’s name out of your goddamn valley-accented mouths. 3/10
