And there are some clients that will drive to your studio for minutes, sit on your chair, and before you get halfway into the session, they are asleep and you're using your hand to hold their head.
This signals trust and surrender. An ease that comes from feeling safe enough.

Almost every barber has one client that refuses to use any other clippers except their own, no matter what the problem is.
They rather delay and inconvenience you, but they will never allow you to use another clipper on them.
You go just de vex!

Clients like to feel they belong to a certain class or standard.
If they know you attend to premium clients in their environment, it reinforces the idea that “this barber is for people like us.”
It’s less about the haircut and more about identity.

Majority of barbers are still dipping their clippers and trimmers in a plate with little quantity of white powder during lining or shape up.
Some put a little quantity in their left hand.
This reflects uncontrolled or careless attention to details & can limit tools security.

Majority of barbers don’t enjoy using clients’ clippers during a haircut, they prefer theirs because they are use to them for precision and quality.
In most cases, it doesn’t necessarily reflects bad condition of client’s tools but rather trust and perceived consistency.

If a client stretches their haircut too long, doesn’t maintain it, or ignores basic care, the result will naturally look inconsistent.
Even if your work was solid at the time of service.
If the cut looks excellent when they leave your chair every time, your standard is intact.

The most annoying clients are those who doesn’t get their clippers charged, don’t have petrol for non-rechargeable tools, waste your time, expect you to charge them less and still insist on using their personal/private tools for haircut.
