Days 5-7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #Scotland #Highlands Enjoying some stunning scenery as @ESEImperial UGs fill in their maps. #geology 🚨 "Cross-beds" are the dark squiggly lines above Colin, formed as grains roll down the side of a dune, and can tell us if the rocks are upside-down 🔃🪨

Days 3 & 4 #Scotland #Highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @ESEImperial students have been looking at quartzite and schist - baked and compressed rocks made of sand and mud. While the students took to the slopes to find some rocks, Colin hitched a ride in the backpack. #fieldwork #geology
