Favreau and Filoni's absolute fear of tackling politics in any way has led to #TheMandalorianAndGrogu being the most apolitical Star Wars story yet. Because of their narrative ineptitude, the film's most triumphant moment is the New Republic bombing the shit out of Nal Hutta. Weaver's character tells you retroactively that the Hutts "chose a side" but it makes absolutely no sense strategically and morally. The Twins are already dead. Embo is gone. The only active threat towards Mando is a bunch of droids. So what does he do? Exactly! Call in a fucking airstrike to burn that place to the ground. I know this movie absolutely does not want you to question such things, but the way the New Republic just levels an entire palace (likely full of servants and potentially slaves, DEFINITELY full of little Hutt babies) IDF style is fucking insane. Utterly bizarre thing to witness as *the* big moment of triumph.

As a lifelong, avid @Giants fan, I am beyond disappointed & flat out angry @JaxsonDart has chosen to align himself with an unhinged, racist, criminal, lunatic destroying our democracy. How is this going to go over with his teammates? This is a terrible look for the org.
