@RobertLindsay We had our 13YO Lab put down last week. Hardest decision to make but we set a date amd did it at home so she was calm and peaceful. That made it easier to cope with.

My beautiful Lola has a terminal illness so we took her home to give her love and comfort but she is so confused and won’t eat. Still wags her tail when we hold her but her time is near.The decision is horrendous for all of us but I’m sure she’ll let us know❤️

So unbelievably proud of our BGA poetry winners tonight when they recited their poems for the large crowds at Elefest at @blackpoolzoo. Every child in the school wrote a poem & these poems were selected as the best! Talk about a real purpose for writing @PieCorbett @Talk4Writing

@IrelandChrissie I've done my NPQLT and now on with my NPQSL. Definitely the right next step for me but I suppose it depends on if you're already in that role or not.

Results are in - I passed my NPQLT 🤩🤩. Do I go for NPQSL next, or straight to NPQH?!

Back in 2008 I motorcycled around the world with a friend. In Kiev (Ukraine) a family took us in and gave us a bed for the night. They gave us a prayer and I wrote it in my diary and forgot about it. Reading it today, the words really hit home! #Ukraine

Our Year 6 pupils had a great time at the Sciathlon trip this week & represented BGA superbly, well done Year 6!

Science house competition time!

During this week’s Science week we have had 2 wonderful assemblies from Silly Science & a house Science competition launched by our Science lead Me Snelling! 🧪🥼🧬⚗️🔬🔭🧫

Some of the KS2 pupils visited Lancashire Energy HQ for an Eco Science Event with other schools. They made a heart in the engineering dept with copper & visited a simulator for energy whilst giving instructions to each other to keep it working. @bfcengineering

Science Week fun!

Year 4 have really enjoyed making their own Mosaics as part of their History/ Art topic this half term.

Year 4 had a fantastic trip to @RibRomanMuseum consolidating their learning this half term about the Romans and learning lots of new facts too! #bringinglearningtolife

Y4 have been using their team building skills to create a Roman Fort in the classroom following their trip to Ribchester Museum.

The children in Year 4 have enjoyed exploring circuits. They made things work and took apart plugs to see what was inside. 💡🔌
