Several of my conversations so far this morning “Dario Trump is going to TACO” “TACO about what exactly?” Silence - so far haven’t got an answer worth sharing yet

Sources say Russias and Putin stance on Ukraine have hardened significantly the country no longer wishes to negotiate and is fully committed to capturing the eastern regions of the county which it will use a buffer zone for post war escalation is expected. Not good news...

Crazy that only two weeks ago we were talking about how much faster Kuwait had managed to restart shut-in production than expected. All going rapidly the other way now repeated and brutal whiplash
Nader Itayim | ‌‌نادر ایتیّم@ncitayim

NEW: 🇰🇼 Kuwaiti energy targeted again. Kuwait's state oil company KPC says "one of its vital oil sector sites was subjected to repeated and brutal Iranian attacks this morning, Saturday, resulting in significant material losses and some injuries."

@GavMcCracken Macroeconomically wars are naturally financed by degrading quality of life of a population to absorb the costs. (Look, for example, what putinomics has done to Russians). Scott B is fighting it here, just for a regular person to have affordable gas. The real man of the people 🤣

@GavMcCracken They are playing a long game. It’s important for them to establish themselves as reasonable actors in the region. They want the world to see the Americans as they see them. As evil demons. And so far Trump has contributed much to the cause

@JavierBlas @opinion So, now instead of admitting that the group of pundits (you included ) have been jawboning the markets all that time, you, asshole, trying to put it on Ukraine? Take your dirty hands off them. They are fighting for their lives there

COLUMN: The end of the US-Iran war has brought oil down to ~$75 a barrel. But the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine war is inflating the cost of petroleum refined products. The result? Fuel prices remain as high as if crude was still above $100. @Opinion bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

@The_Tman10 Man, just watch Egypt disallowed goal. Do you sincerely think that the situation was easier there for Mo Sallah? The difference is that Mo practices how to play such situations and Sorloth apparently doesn’t.

Genuinely don’t think the pass was on to Haaland here. IMO the centre back defends the 2v1 superbly and all but cuts off that pass (bar absolutely zipping it through on the run which is a v difficult pass) Textbook defending of that situation. Though im sure someone will freeze it and say i’m talking shite 🤣 but in real time its split second stuff.

any new angle I watch of that Sorloth howler, it just gets worse & worse😂😂

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Despite everything happening in the Strait overnight (the IRGC firing on shipping, the intercepted cruise missile and drone) around 20 commercial vessels transited through in the last 24 hours under U.S. military coordination. Several more went through on their own. The Strait is still moving. For now. Source: @BarakRavid / Writer: Oliver

🚨DEVELOPING: Egypt's manager has been at the center of controversy during & after Egypt's 3-2 loss to Argentina... During the match he made an X with his arms to report a case of racism, however it was ignored by the ref After the match he was upset with the ref and said: "It's all about money. They want Messi to stay in the tournament. In football, many things happen off the pitch because of interests. What happened was unfair. Egypt deserved to qualify. We were the better team against Argentina." "I will say what's on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it" "And I want to say one more thing, if they want Argentina to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?"

@RioMoussallem To be honest. They only have themselves to blame. They choked and blew-up comfortable lead. Argentina was definitely a better team, Egypt was luckier, but luck ran out eventually. Officiating was somewhat okay.

Why didn’t VAR go back to this action before the build-up to Argentina’s third goal? Same situation happened before cancelling Egypt’s second!

@juliaioffe VAR is not insanity. What insane is that after all this years they haven’t figured out how to use it reasonably and transparently. Why won’t they simply implement NHL approach of coach challenges I cannot fathom.

@Kasparov63 Circumstances weren’t identical. Just look at the ball and who is in possession. But VAR did cause a lot of false negative cases. Referees just stopped calling obvious fouls on their own.

🚨CONTROVERSIAL: VAR didn’t call this as a penalty OR a foul in the build up to Argentina’s 3rd goal… …Egypt had an earlier goal ruled back for a foul in the build up
