@Cuylle50 It's great to see the way he plays, which is the biggest difference, even aside of the production. And it gives us hope that he may still have another gear. But I put myself in the "cautiously optimistic" camp and need to see this from him over a full season.

Is Lafreniere's stretch of 17 pts in 13 GP fraudulent because of the softer schedule the #NYR have had? No. I believe in this still only 24yr old. A closer look shows he has 30 pts in 30 GP since 1/1/26 (a pace of 36G and 46A). That’s top line production over nearly half a season

I think Alexis Lafreniere and Gabe Perreault can play with eachother for a lot of years to come Outside of the French connection, their playstyle compliments each other. Alexis Lafreniere is the OZ space creator, who will retrieve puck ons the forecheck, move around the zone with possession, and optionally be the play driver on a Top 6 line While Gabe Perreault is the high danger cerebral set up man, who will be able to find space in the OZ and be able to make quick decisions on one touch passes and be able to move the puck laterally, circle to circle passes to get goalies off balance Zibanejad has been good but at his age, you may want to consider the future. Rangers need a young C who can create controlled zone entries and also finish at a high rate to compliment Gabe and Lafs games You can also put Gabe with Greentree, Greentree is the pure finisher who scores a lot in rush opportunities but than you need a C who can get after it on the forecheck and drive play in the OZ #NYR

@Marius_Aarum Når alle gode juniorspillere drar til Sverige i en alder av 15 (Eriksen/Aaram-Olsen/Brandsegg-Nygård m.m.) er det ikke lett å få opp mange unggutter. De få som har blitt værende tar steg år etter år, for eksempel Solberg, Koch og Torrissen.
