During our 7th Grade Math Marathon our students solved problems in the hallway, were actively engaged, discussed, debated, and collaborated.  They were problem-solvers, critical thinkers, efficient readers, and effective communicators! #CRSE #vaway @District27NYC @Under1love

Village Academy presents our 2nd workshop in our "Meet your Future" series. Students will hear about the education and experiences of young professionals of color. This Month we will hear from Mekal Smith of the FBI. @District27NYC @Under1love @DOEChancellor @QSNYCDOE

Yesterday we joined Principal Doris Lee for a tour of Village Academy in Far Rockaway. Their classrooms and library are set up for social distancing. School leaders and educators know their building and community, and they are working hard for a safe reopening this fall.

Today was a great day! Through our partnerships with @DRichards13 and Beacon of Hope we were able to donate food and personal hygiene products to over 50 families. Serving the community the VA way!
