Hot take #NJDevils Seamus Casey is a 45-55pt defensmen in the nhl with pp time as soon as next season if he gets the Ice time. Trade dougie and nemec. Get not one but two impact forwards with the money and let Casey cook in a third pair pp2 role.

@mrbighead77 It was 14 games and I understand. The point is he would be a 3rd pair defenseman #6 D would be significantly less money than having nemec or Hamilton there. Trading Hamilton for cap space. Using assets like our top 10 pick Nemec Mercer Hameenaho To get 1-2 top 6ers is ideal
