The govt did NOT block a Grooming Gangs Inquiry. It voted against an amendment - attached to the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill - which would have been killed had the vote passed. THAT amendment was added to stir trouble. Inform yourself. Educate yourself. Be smart

Normal distribution with Y13. Last year, I enjoyed my first lesson on this topic so much that I went to the trouble of setting up this account just to share it! Today I remembered why. There’s so much fun reasoning in this worksheet, with no need for a (fancy) calculator.

Tried a new way of teaching the Normal distribution: a lesson and a bit in and we haven't used calculators or tables yet. Instead, it's all been reasoning from a value I've given them. I think it's worked quite well so far.
