Father God, Thank You for protecting us while we slept & waking us this morning with purpose in today's journey. Thank You for the many blessings we receive every day, most of which we don't even realize. Thank You for the gifts of mobility & thinking, the ability to work & provide. Thank You for the salvation of the world when You took the suffering to the cross. Lord, forgive my sins, debts & trespasses. I pray You guide me throughout this day & steer me away from controversy that may distract me from the day's mission. Thank You for all the brothers & sisters praying with me right now. Lord, lay Your hands on those suffering physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. Give them relief & let them feel Your love & mercy. Lord, be with my brother today as he seeks employment. Help him find his way to provide for his family. Lord, I remember when I was hooked on those prescriptions, everyone wrote me off except You & mama. I know You're real. I didn't need rehab, & I was done with doctors. I focused on You & it was done. I asked for that same mercy for anyone praying with me right now.
