OMG, that season 5 #strangerthings ending! I get it, I see now why everyone's so upset. Still a beautiful ending, even if it's dark.

Finally got around to watching #strangerthings season 5. It got a lot of hate from fans, so I almost didn't bother. But I'm two episodes from the end. It's pretty good so far. I like the #wormhole thing.

The young actress who played Robin Williams’ daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire was expelled for missing too much school during filming, and Robin Williams wrote a respectful letter asking the principal to reconsider—while she wasn’t allowed back, the school was so impressed they kept and framed his letter. Here's the letter he wrote: Dear Mr. (blanked out) I have spent three months working on 'Mrs Doubtfire' with Lisa Jakub. I have found Lisa to be bright, inquisitive, and an eager to learn young lady. She is charming, and a delight. A student of her caliber and talent should be encouraged to go out in the world and learn through her work. She should also be encouraged to return to the classroom when she's done to share those experiences and motivate her classmates to soar to their own higher achievements. Lisa also should not be denied the social learning experiences that come with High School and being a teenager. Herb Morgan on California’s Unfair Franchise Tax: I’m Herb Morgan, candidate for California State Controller, and I’m calling out one of the most unfair burdens on California businesses: the $800 minimum franchise tax. The Franchise Tax Board, chaired by the State Controller, has become notorious for delays in processing business refunds and tax returns. At the same time, California forces businesses to pay an $800 annual tax whether they make a profit or not. That hits small businesses the hardest and punishes people simply for trying to build something in this state. The Controller and the FTB do not set that fee, but as Chairman of the Franchise Tax Board, I will use that platform to fight for reform, demand accountability, and put pressure on the legislature to end this unfair tax. California should not punish businesses just for existing.
