UNUSUAL South Korean President Lee Jae‑myung welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in the historic city of Andong, in the southeast of the country. South Korea held a traditional Korean-style reception — a symbolic gesture toward Japan, which had once attempted to erase Korean culture during the harsh occupation. President Lee also refused Takaichi’s customary hug, sending an additional message, as she is known for embracing every leader she meets.

DO YOU KNOW THE CHINESE WOMAN At last night’s dinner banquet, a Chinese woman from Hunan sat in the most prominent seat between two figures known to the entire world: to her left, Tim Cook, and to her right, Elon Musk. Forty years ago, she was a poor rural girl who left school at the age of 15. Her name is Zhou Qunfei She lost her mother at five, and her father was injured in an accident while making explosives, leaving him blind with damaged hands. The family survived by making handmade baskets. At fifteen, she left her village for Guangdong to work, joining a watch‑glass factory in Shenzhen. She worked on the production line during the day and studied at night school, earning certificates in accounting, computing, customs clearance, and driving. After just three years, she rose from a simple worker to a factory manager. But she later resigned after being sidelined in favor of the owners’ relatives. She left with modest capital: 20,000 yuan and eight of her relatives. They rented a small apartment that became both a factory and a home. She would go from factory to factory offering her services, then return at night to work until 3 a.m. She continued like this for ten years. Then came the first opportunity in 2003. Motorola wanted to manufacture its iconic V3 phone with nearly impossible specifications: ultra‑thin, ultra‑clear glass with zero defects. Every factory refused. She accepted. The mission succeeded, and the phone sold more than 100 million units worldwide. From there, **Lens Technology** was born. Then came Apple. When Steve Jobs wanted to build the first iPhone with a strengthened glass that had never been commercially produced, Apple’s engineers searched the world for a factory willing to take the challenge. They found only Zhou Qunfei. After months of joint work, she succeeded in producing the first iPhone screen, later becoming the largest supplier of glass for Apple devices—from iPhone to iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch. Tesla, Mercedes, BMW, and others followed, entrusting her with manufacturing automotive glass, smart displays, and even components for humanoid robots. That is why she sat in the most prominent seat last night. To her left, Tim Cook, whose Apple has relied on her factories for 18 years; to her right, Elon Musk, whose Tesla and Optimus robots depend on her technologies. When asked about the secret of her success, she did not speak of luck, intelligence, or even hard work. She simply said: Dare to accept. Then added: The things others see as impossible… accept them. The tasks everyone runs away from… accept them. When you accept the challenge, you learn how to succeed in it. And when you succeed, bigger challenges come to you. Opportunities are not discovered by people… opportunities are the things others abandon, and you bend down to pick them up.

Qwen 3.6 Plus Preview just dropped on OpenRouter. 1,000,000 token context window. $0 input. $0 output. It's Free. A million tokens of context for free. This is insane. Claude Opus 4.6 charges $5/$25 per million tokens for 200K context. GPT 5.4 charges for 1M context. Qwen just gave it away. All free. Open source is not slowing down. It's accelerating.

AdGuard Home just hit a major milestone: we’re officially featured in the MikroTik “Made for MikroTik” (MFM) software catalog. If you’re a networking enthusiast or a pro who swears by MikroTik gear, this is the integration you’ve been waiting for. It’s all about making high-level privacy tools more visible and even easier to deploy within the ecosystem. MikroTik users are known for wanting total control over their hardware, and AdGuard Home is the perfect partner for that. It’s a free, open-source DNS server that kills ads, trackers, and malware across your entire network at the source. No apps or extensions are required — just pure, router-level protection that covers every phone, TV, and smart device connected to your Wi-Fi. Thanks to the container support in RouterOS v7, getting AdGuard Home up and running on your hardware is now smoother than ever. You get full visibility into your DNS logs and the power to block phishing or specific services before they even touch your devices. It’s the ultimate way to turn your router into a privacy powerhouse without the usual setup headaches. As our CTO Andrey Meshkov puts it, this is another step toward making powerful, user-controlled networking accessible to everyone. We’re excited to see more MikroTik fans take back control of their traffic and customize their internet experience. Check out the catalog, give it a spin, and let us know how your new setup is running! adguard-dns.io/en/blog/adguar…

🚨𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen unveiled EU–INC, a new framework that lets you launch a company in 48 hours for under €100 Starting a company across the EU today = 27 legal systems, 60+ company structures 🤯 That might be about to change… The European Commission just introduced 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗰., a new optional corporate framework designed to make Europe actually function like one market. Here’s what stands out: → Set up a company in 48 hours → Cost: < €100 → Fully online, no minimum capital → One single framework across all EU countries → Easier share transfers & fundraising → EU-wide employee stock options (huge for talent) Especially the EU-wide stock option plans, taxed only when employees actually sell (instead of when granted) is huge. This makes it far easier for startups to attract and retain top talent, finally putting Europe closer to the US playbook. Source/More info: ec.europa.eu/commission/pre… In short: This is Europe trying to compete with the simplicity of a Delaware C-Corp 🇺🇸 And honestly… it’s long overdue. For years, European founders had 2 choices: 1. Stay local and deal with fragmentation 2. Move to the US to scale 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗰. is trying to remove that trade-off. If executed well, this could be one of the most important structural changes for European startups in decades. What do you think?

@oost_marcel But taxes are still 27 separate sovereignties. That's not a paperwork problem. That's a structural one. Don't expect much innovation from Spain until the fiscal pressure changes. You can't build a startup culture on top of a system designed to crush small revenue.

@oost_marcel You pay this even if you earn nothing. -Day 90: Modelo 303 — you pay VAT before your client even pays YOU - Day 180: Income tax + corporate tax + withholdings... - End result: ~50% of your revenue gone before you pay yourself EU-INC unifies incorporation. Cool.....

Trasporti completamente gratuiti a studenti e anziani over 65.

Sam and Dario not being able to hold hands on stage in when the PM of India asks them too, at a summit about the future of AI and its safety, kinda implicitly shows they feel above governments, right? Like they really wouldn't care about world peace when it comes down to it, only winning? It's kinda freaky to me, I mean they are winning, but I don't know, you have to remember regardless of whatever level you're playing at (and they're playing at the highest level), entrepreneurship is still just a game? You can't take it so serious that you won't hold hands with your competitor right? Sundar being nice here only makes me more positive about Google
Yuchen Jin@Yuchenj_UW

This is so hilarious. Nothing can make Sam and Dario hold hands, not even the Prime Minister of India!

We have become aware of recent reports concerning legal proceedings in Spain that may affect VPN services, including Proton VPN. At this stage, we were not aware of any proceedings that may have been underway prior to these reports coming to light and have not been formally notified of any proceedings or judgment. Moreover, any judicial order issued without proper notification to the affected parties, thereby denying them the opportunity to be heard, would be procedurally invalid under fundamental principles of due process. Spanish courts, like all courts operating under the rule of law, are bound by procedural safeguards that ensure parties are given a fair opportunity to present their case before any binding judgment is rendered.
