Which language is best, C, C++, Python, JavaScript or Java?
- If you are writing an operating system, I suggest you use C and prepare to debug things that should not even exist.
- If you are writing a very complex application where execution speed is extremely important, I suggest you use C++ and sacrifice your sanity for performance.
- If time to market is key, but execution speed is not important, I suggest you use Python and let 3 lines of code do the work of 300.
- If you want to build things fast, break things faster, and somehow run the entire internet, I suggest you use JavaScript.
- If your boss told you: "do it in Java or you are fired" I suggest you use Java and look for a better workplace.

People take this as bearish. 15! Is basically infinity. On chain contracts are supposed to be bullet proof legos. We don’t need a million devs with a million contracts. We need a small set of contracts that are immutable and bug free that can be composed into infinite number of products.
So the pitch to the millions of rust devs isn’t to write a whole bunch of code to maintain, but to help optimize the set of primitives that all of future finance can be built on.
