One big talking point from this Draft is the teams that took their guys and trusted "their" boards vs "consensus". Bears, Rams, Jags, and most notably -- 49ers -- had the largest Deltas between their picks and where the Consensus Big Boards listed. All playoff teams in '25. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Good player and good value for Gracen Halton as an explosive interior DT

Gracen Halten is a gap-splitting, fire-off-the-line (and nothing else) 3 tech in the mold of, well, like everyone the Niners have employed at depth 3 tech over the last 10 years. Exceptionally logical pick. I had him 74 overall.

There's no need to sugarcoat it. The 49ers WRs were dogsh*t blockers last year. It's part of the reason CMC had the fourth-fewest yards before contact. Too many times he had to evade a second-level defender at or behind the line. Lane Kiffin used Stribling as a FB and an in-line TE at times in high-leverage situations as the primary lead blocker.
