A former minister dies in a suspected murder, and the sneering media class immediately uses it as an excuse to gossip about her private life on live television. Calling Ann Widdecombe an "old maid" and a "virgin" while a police manhunt is literally underway on the ticker below them. It is absolutely vile. It tells you everything you need to know about the modern broadcast media. Zero class. Zero decency. Just naked contempt.

If true this is shocking Tory Chairman being investigated for trying to influence the Standards Commissioner. After all his attacks on Nigel and Reform?
Raheem J. Kassam@RaheemKassam

🚨 BREAKING: TORY CHAIRMAN TRIED TO LOBBY PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSIONER OVER FARAGE INVESTIGATION 🚨 The Chairman of the Conservative Party, Kevin Hollinrake MP, is now under formal investigation by Parliament’s Standards Commissioner over allegations he lobbied the Commissioner about his decision-making. This is the same Kevin Hollinrake who spent months leading demands for investigations into Nigel Farage MP, repeatedly attacking the Reform UK leader over gifts, donations and financial declarations. Now, the man who pushed for Farage’s investigation is facing one of his own, for lobbying the commissioner to make partisan decisions and kick Nigel out of Parliament. The Hollinrake inquiry was opened on 11 June 2026 under Rule 14 of the MPs’ Code of Conduct. The allegation isn’t about paperwork, like Farage’s, but rather that he tried to influence the Standards Commissioner while decisions were being made. Hollinrake remains Conservative Party Chairman, continues making media appearances, attacking Reform and commenting on national politics. There have been no calls from Conservative or Labour leaders for him to resign, and the issue has received almost no mainstream media attention. Funny how standards investigations suddenly seem less newsworthy when they’re aimed at the people calling for them.

Desperate Labour stop at nothing to prevent Reform’s success. Their hypocrisy is shameless having accepted £4 million from Cayman registered hedge fund and over £500,000 from 8 companies who then received almost £150 million in Government contracts.

Very chilling authoritarian move by Andy Burnham. He commanded Senior figures at Manchester's Fire & Rescue Service to have words with Firefighters who support Reform UK, saying it was a cause for 'concern'. Make no mistake about it, Andy as PM will be a threat to free speech.

Given Keir Starmer & Kemi Badenoch keep reminding us about the Nowak family’s wishes I have to ask: Why do they show such little interest in Rhiannon Whyte’s family, who was brutally murdered by an illegal migrant & has made it clear her wish is to fix this crisis?

I met brilliant firefighters in Hampshire recently who reported similar concerns to me. The politicisation of our public services must stop.
The Free Speech Union@SpeechUnion

Senior figures at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, under the command of Andy Burnham, have cautioned firefighters who support Reform UK over their political views. In a further chilling assault on free speech, staff have also effectively been urged in an email to report colleagues who support Reform. Fire brigade bosses have also said they are seeking legal advice on what to do about firefighters who decide to stand as Reform UK candidates. This is despite the fact that, unlike police officers, there is no legal bar preventing firefighters from participating in national or local politics. In their email, fire brigade bosses Mr Petch and Ms Ahmed said: ’We are aware that some staff members have chosen to represent Reform UK in their local areas. We know this may cause concern within our network and wider. ’The individuals involved have been spoken to, to make it clear that as members of GMFRS (Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) our core values and professional behaviours must be displayed at all times. ’The service is currently seeking formal legal guidance… to ensure we are protected from all perspectives and that our inclusive culture remains safe. ‘Our priority is and always will be ensuring that every member of this network feels supported, respected and safe at work.’ They also confirmed that they would be consulting the Fire Brigades Union on the matter. In his role as Mayor of Greater Manchester, @AndyBurnhamGM — who is also tipped by some to be a future Prime Minister if he wins the Makerfield by-election — is also Greater Manchester’s Fire Commissioner, responsible for overseeing the service. General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young of Acton, has now written to Mr Burnham to raise concerns about the chilling effect this has on free speech. Lord Young said that the ‘clear implication’ of the email from the fire brigade bosses was that ‘representing Reform UK constitutes an inherent threat to the institution’s culture and values and is to be treated as morally suspect’. He also highlighted that no action appears to have been taken against firefighters who support other political parties. The letter also states: ‘Staff are further invited to report colleagues who support any groups that go against the service’s values, which effectively amounts to an instruction to inform on colleagues for their political beliefs. ’The email will create a chilling effect on the free speech of GMFRS employees who support Reform. ’The practical effect is that a public fire and rescue service governed by you is treating the lawful political activity of your electoral opponents as a reputational risk to their employer. ‘Regardless of whether this reflects your instruction, it reflects your governance; and a public office-holder who permits his institution to demonise or chill the speech and political activity of those who support his principal electoral rival cannot claim to be discharging that office with the impartiality it demands.’ Read more below 👇

Three days after Henry Nowak died in police handcuffs, Hampshire Constabulary drafted a statement calling him the aggressor. They knew his killer was a liar. They wrote it anyway. Then they tried to brief the public mid-trial about “disinformation.” Resign.

Henry Nowak was kind, thoughtful and much-loved. His life was stolen from him, leaving his family and loved ones devastated. The bodycam footage is harrowing. It’s absolutely right that the IOPC is looking at this. There are serious questions for the police to answer.
