The reason is not the training of gynecologist’s
Pain in hysteroscopy is usually not from lens insertion, but from polyp removal or endom sampling
In SHG, pathology can only be ruled out, but cannot be resolved if it exists
They aren’t equal

If you're due a #hysteroscopy please don't be scared by past horror stories. Please read this info from the Royal College of Obs & Gynae. Decide if you'd prefer a GA. Agree with doctor/nurse that they'll stop and reschedule w/ GA if you're in pain. rcog.org.uk/en/patients/pa…

@osita_chidoka …..and directed straight to the mortuary. The whole system right from education, prevention, early detection, right attitude and treatment needs attention. Unfortunately, it’s been the case for years and things need to change.
