Are you feeling weary, tired, heavy laden, heartbroken and burdened by worries of the things that you cannot control? All of us in our lives face a time of darkness. The doom and gloom seem to linger on into an endless night that breaks our spirits and sometimes our hearts!
Did you think a broken heart and contrite spirit (humility) can actually be a strength and not a weakness? This may sound like an oxymoron; however, in God‘s law, it is the meek (humble) and weak that he gives strength to
Therefore, when we are all weak, then we are strong. God's glory is better seen in weak things because then there is no doubt where it came from, and also with humble people, God knows the power and fame does not go to their heads.
The background to this verse and chapter is that David’s life had been threatened several times, and he had every reason to be afraid and anxious.
All good things come from God. He truly is so, so good. He is the source of every delight and genuine joy that we can experience in this life. To taste his goodness or trust in him requires us to take action. Faith without works is dead.
Have you done your part by taking action to trust in God, as did King David and all the others who came before and after him? Get on your knees in humble prayer today, trusting in God, our Heavenly Father, who is the source
of all blessings.
Do not be disheartened, and know that the light of the morning will surely come to those who patiently wait upon the Lord and to those who are steadfast in their afflictions and to those who remain under the righteousness and anointing of the everlasting promise from God Almighty.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen🙏

Men;
Liking sports is a good thing, but it should never become an addiction
In Africa most men have a football addiction, to a point where even their moods are based on how "their" team is performing
They will spend much time analysing statistics, arguing about so n so players, bragging about buying so n so players
Even the ever opportunistic prophets have capitalized on this football addiction, they now make prophecies about football games
Get this, at the end of the day, those footballers are actually men at work, earning for their families, winning in life
Are you also doing the same? Don't get so distracted to a point where you stop remembering you also have to win
Learn OR perish!!!

Exactly thirty years ago, I walked onto a reggae sound system stage during a sound clash with the greatest selector of modern times in Zimbabwe, William Sinclair, popularly known by his sound system name, Jah B, of the famous Stereo One International.
That is where the name Daddy Hope originated, I was one of the sound system selectors of that era when I was also at journalism school.
My journalism career got in the way, and, as they say, the rest is history.
Here is an article written by Dr. Conrad Nyamutata about this particular sound clash and the various contracts I had with international record companies as their African representative, I was only 23 years old.
A sound clash is a reggae musical competition between two or more sound systems, where selectors compete by playing music to win over the audience. Originating in Jamaica, sound clashes are a cornerstone of reggae and dancehall culture but have since spread to other genres worldwide.
As the sound system competition results were announced, the elder had won.
He turned to me and whispered, “Bwoy, you baad; that was a close call, you almost took mi title.”
Coming second to him was, in football terms, like coming second to Eric Cantona or Maradona.
Jah B, a Jamaican, was the man who firmly established the reggae sound system culture in Zimbabwe.
He moved to Zimbabwe in the early 80s, joining a large cohort of euphoric black people excited about our country’s independence.
He married his wife, Melanie Sinclair, who became my elder sister. She was a flight attendant at Air Zimbabwe.
She was the source of his music which she bought at Dub Vendor each time she came to London with work.
Jah B was the Godfather of dancehall music in Zimbabwe, he introduced it to a mass market together with his friend, Dennis Wilson. Testing the teacher and almost toppling him was a great honour.
Rest in peace Godfather🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
