@zerohedge Half the USPS employees are letter carriers. If we went to 3 day/wk delivery from 6, probably 30-40% of them would be surplus meaning a reduction of 15-20% of staff and labor costs and savings in fuel and truck wear and tear. We don't need 1st class mail every day anymore.

@WallStreetMav Florida doesn't have a personal income tax or estate tax. The billionaires moving here don't personally do much for Florida's tax base beyond property taxes on the compound (which DeSantis wants to eliminate), and some sales tax generated on luxury purchases.

Socialism is equality. Everyone gets poor together. Billionaires are fleeing California, Illinois and Washington … moving to Florida. Wealth management companies are following the money, expanding offices in Florida. Florida builds its tax base, California and Seattle and Chicago lose their biggest taxpayers.

CA and WA are solving wealth and income inequality. By driving out billionaires, they are driving down their gini coefficients. So if you live on the West Coast, you should be feeling better now.
