Sounds cliché, but a special educator began her career 37 yrs ago in BCPS. Taught at Essex, Milbrook, Sparks ESs, worked in C&I, was the proudest principal of Lansdowne ES, and over the past 8 years had the wonderful fortune to support wonderful principals!

As I settle into a Saturday evening I breathe deeply, reflecting on how nice it feels to know that my sanity won't be tied to the destructive whims of Mr. Twitchy Twitter Thumb.

@MissCook_BCPS Sometimes it isn’t about the quality of the PD; it’s about what’s on the tchrs plate. In the years that I have been a principal, every year is a new thing, a new direction. There’s little time to practice/retain required learning. To sign up is too much. Self-cares wins out.😕
