@Alkadi_Nazih @khdsr8x2rs @DropSiteNews Yes, I know. How convenient that all those posters are arranged in a way to show up in photos from all different angles. And imagine having to step/bend over landmins to pick up your helmet. This is a joke.

Either Hezbollah is repurposing unexploded Israeli demolition explosives, or Israel is staging sites with its own munitions, as it almost certainly did at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza in November 2023, new photos show. (Analysis by CNN and BBC Verify found that the number of weapons shown in IDF videos at Al-Shifa increased between filming sessions. A bag behind an MRI machine contained one AK-47 in an initial IDF video but two in footage filmed hours later for international news crews.) See analysis by Bellingcat’s @Easybakeovensz below ⬇️
Trevor Ball@Easybakeovensz

Looks like the IDF blurred the labels for IDF bulk explosives, but forgot to do so in a still photo. IDF has used bulk explosives like this for demolitions in Gaza and Lebanon, and some have failed to explode, so Hezbollah may have gotten them that way.

Nothing illustrates the stupidity and ignorance of Western media better than the Economist seeking the opinion of this Lebanese billionaire. Again, Lebanese people will find it funny. This guy was a tool of Syrian regime and Hizbullah until 6 years ago when he switched to the Saudi camp hoping to become a prime minister. Hizbullah used to train his bodyguards.

China has announced the decision to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq. We hope this will help ease the difficult humanitarian situation facing the people there. China will continue striving for a ceasefire, an early return of peace and stability to the region, and a stop to the spread of humanitarian crisis.

🇱🇧 ❌ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿✅ 👇

Lebanon is confronted to two choices: 1/ Disarm Hezbollah ourselves, it won't lead to civil war, will create tensions, but avoid us full on destruction of the South and Beirut. 2/ Let Israel do it, lose the South, and gain a million internal displaced Lebanese.

The idea that one species on one planet in four hundred years of serious science has figured out most of the fundamental rules is almost laughably arrogant. The probability of that being true is essentially zero.

If the government tries to draft you into some high-casualty war overseas, the penalty for refusing is up to 5 years in federal prison. During Vietnam, over 210,000 people refused and only about 1.5% of them actually ended up in prison. The federal courts just couldn't handle that many cases at once, so prosecutors started dropping charges to clear the backlog. It also makes no economic sense to jail tens of thousands of young people. It costs $45-60K per person per year to keep someone locked up, and you're pulling all those workers and taxpayers out of the economy at the same time. The government ends up doing more damage to itself than to the people it's trying to punish. That's basically what happened with Vietnam. By 1977, Carter pardoned nearly all of them because having 200,000 permanent felons and exiles was worse for the country than just letting it go. If you're facing a draft into a war where your odds of coming home alive are bad, choosing prison over death is a pretty rational decision. And if enough people make that same decision at the same time, the system physically cannot punish all of them. It didn't work during Vietnam and it wouldn't work now.
