Announcing and releasing CS2 out of beta in 2023 was a huge mistake. It took three years to reach a point that justifies the full switch, BUT it also seems like dev's mindset was "we either do it now or never", pretty much the same way they bruteforced CS:GO back then.

Calling CS2 market stabilised, after high volatility due to panic selling underlined with huge liquidity and followed by FOMO rapid price spikes (prices being just delisted and re-listed again) with minor sales "dead-liquidity" is a criminal manipulation. Inflation gonna hit hard

@ownthebanks @CJ_CS2 His assumption could be actually right and speaks about volume (liquidity) which is dead RN. Most changed prices of gold are artificially changed with new listings supported by marginal sales. Market has no fuel and the demand to purchase skins is not there for current prices.

Am I missing something? Tens, if not hundreds of thousands of new knives and gloves are going to hit the market next week, most of which cost £100-£200 to craft. This includes BFKs, M9s etc. Is there any reason not to expect another crash?

@Dutr4 @KatoBuff Why just a steam market? you could bought the reds on any 3rd party site and still need to wait after tradelock expiry. It is still a significant amount of red skins which divided by 5 got you gold item that time, so i still think the supply shock would make the price go lower.

@mrtnkrll @KatoBuff That doesnt make sense, the vast majority of skins are not trade locked. The only ones locked that can be tradeup are the ones you bought from steam market, the other ones you can't. The cheaper reds sold within minutes and in like an hour we had the prices we have now.

All people expect that in the 30th there will be a crash again. Literally 99.9% of the people think this. Makes sense? 100% But when everyone's move is the same... market usually do the opposite. Not financial advice and idk what will happen, just some thoughts
