@CanesStats It would be nice if they announced some scenarios ahead of time, like "if the Wild and Ducks close out the series on Thursday, the Hurricanes and Flyers will play game 1 on Saturday" to at least give people a better idea of what to plan for. But that's too transparent for the NHL

It’s wild how the NHL Playoff schedule is dictated. Announcing a game at 1:20 AM for an 8 PM puck drop the next day is brutal. Fans and teams are basically on standby with no ability to plan, and if you’re an out of state fan, traveling is impossible. They just say good luck!

For the record, I'm not dead or retired. I've spent the past few months working on content so that I can hopefully return to a stress-free, consistent schedule in the summer. I always seem to run out of games to play. If you've got new games, suggest them here!

@johnlockelover @Inposterumthe @Canesszn1 One player wouldn't single-handedly make the difference (see: Oilers) but it would change things for sure. Let's say he scores, or contributes to, an OT goal in one of the first two games. Suddenly it's a completely different story

@pyrrhicvictor @reporterchris When they announced the goal in the arena, they didn't say it was inconclusive. They said the puck completely crossed the goal line, so it would have been called a goal either way. It's clear that it's in even if you can't see the edge of the puck and the edge of the goal line

@timstutzleglazr That's definitely not cool. There's a small (but very loud) group of Canes fans who do that all the time and we hate them too. I would assume they're the ones saying those things. Unfortunately the worst people are often the loudest on this app
