This way, the 407 becomes more balanced with the 401, providing a faster, safer option for all users. The end result? An efficient highway system where non-commercial drivers, who helped fund the highway’s construction, get fair access, and commercial drivers experience lower costs with better regulation—bringing equilibrium to Ontario’s busiest corridors without compromising the efficiency of the 407.
