For the past month I’ve been able to observe and help teach in London! It’s been a dream! What an amazing opportunity this has been! Soaking up the last 2 weeks here in this perfect little classroom!

A familiar @SamfordEd face stopped by the Daniel House in London! @anna_mcewan is one my favorite people! Thank you OBB for a teacher like her! I even got to tell her some of my stories from my internship here at a school in London!

It’s @pattiwood last day of class…forever! Dr. Wood, you made us better teachers and students. In the short amount of time we had you as a teacher, you impacted us so much! Happy Retirement! OBB won’t be the same without you!

Last book club was a little tea party! Thank you @DrLizi for doing this book club with PLC 5! Thankful for your time getting to know us outside the classroom. A sweet reminder from Romans that our gift is teaching, that is why we are here!

A fun day in kindergarten yesterday! We worked on the letters, P, M, and T. We worked on their sounds and how to write them. We used wiki sticks as a multi sensory strategy! What a fun day! #improvingyourpractice @Benaye46

A teacher’s work is never done! Today I am making foldables for my sweet kindergarteners to write their numbers in next week! I even made an example to model what they need to do! @DrLizi @Benaye46

Today I was helping a student with his letter-sound relationships. I was encouraging him and telling him how proud I was of him and then he told me “you are the best teacher ever!” Moments like these make the hard weeks finally feel rewarding! @DrLizi @Benaye46

Shed some major tears yesterday leaving MBE! The 6th graders have a huge place in my heart. Never thought I would be this sad to leave, but those students made me truly know why I want to be a teacher! MBE, thank you for everything!

Yesterday, PLC 5 and I had our book club meeting with @DrLizi about the book, Making Thinking Visible. I stated that Content + Engagement = Successful Student. Learning is more impactful when it’s engaging, even for college students! #improvingyourpractice

Yesterday I had the best time being @missbontrager mystery reader!! I’ll be back there any day to read to these sweet kiddos! I loved spending time in 1st grade, I even learned a lot even in 45 minutes thanks to Abby! Professional development, right @DrLizi ?
