I'm truly confused at why they've all stuck by Cummings. If it was about MP self-interest they'd throw him under the bus. Same goes for party interest. Same for public health interest. So unless they took some kind of blood oath or devil's bargain... What has he got on them?

Every question at today's coronavirus press conference is about Cummings. I think all the future ones will be. This is becoming the defining issue of this government. One man. And the crucial point is, no single unelected man should be this important. That's a weak organisation
