We did ConverSTATIONS to talk about major themes in Fahrenheit 451. Ss loved chatting with new people and moving around the room! One of my favorite conversation techniques to get Ss moving! #ncte #ela #middleschool

It's time to #Elevate203! District leaders came together this summer to explore the benefits of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT. Here's a recap of what we learned. WATCH: youtube.com/watch?v=tTC9xi…

Save a #Canva design to Google Drive and it opens in Google Slides. It takes several clicks to export, and the fonts and formatting might now exactly match the original. Share → More → Google Drive → Choose folder → Change File Type to PPTX → Save. #CanvaEdu #GoogleEdu

#AI is going to transform education around the world. That’s why we're honored to be part of #TeachAI with the goal of empowering educators everywhere to not just teach with AI but teach about it, too — and in a safe and equitable way. Learn more at TeachAI.org.

@VictoriaTheTech I like to pose it as digital footprint is anthr way to leverage urself and ur professional career. How powerful is it for an employer/the community to see u engaging online in professional, career related endeavors? Social Media is already curated - curate it to ur advantage!

…that up to 70% of employers check a potential candidate’s social media history before an interview. Y’all can do whatever you want with that information, but at the end of the day professional profiles exist to curate and maintain a presence online. That’s what it’s all about.

This week I’ll be giving a session to pre-service educators about the impact of the “digital footprint.” When I was in college, so much of what I learned was “watch what you post,” which always sounded like a “gotcha” to me. My framing is always: “be mindful of what you post.”

@mrshuber11 I have a vivid memory as a kid going into our town area, and making butter just like this. There was a song we sang…”churn butter churn” over and over… my arms hurt thinking about it! I ❤️ seeing this!!!

This led us to wonder how the people in colonial times did it all the time and really made us think about the amount of work that goes into what we consider simple things. Hooray for hands on experiences!

Today we put on our figurative Colonial hats, invited some classmates, and learned how to make homemade butter and candles! We loved seeing how the process worked and agreed our arms were all tired afterwards!
