Apparently it’s #nationaldogday I just adopted a dog named Shea a few weeks ago. He is truly an amazing dog, so sweet and gentle. I decided to fence in part of my backyard (spent thousands), within one day Shea has made a mockery of my fence 😂😂 No remorse! #SheaHatesFences

Ms. Panova & I spend a large portion of class circulating around the room working with different groups of students and checking their work. Hopefully these stamps give us a quick (and fun) way to see what has already been checked and by who.

So anyway I got charged with a ticket for crossing a few feet away from the crosswalk after a speeding car hit me while I was running today on top of a zillion medical bills and I am just. Over everything.

@JennSWhite How are we attending to the fact that the course brings in white males from the pedagogical side, how do adjust our practices and grading policies inside the classroom? What thinking/creativity are we encouraging? There is internal and external work to do!

@JennSWhite @LBmathemagician I’ve been researching this a lot in the past few months for my grad program. I think addressing the external motivators (like access in younger grades and representation) is important. As a CS teacher, I need to address how we teach CS once the students are in the class
