I appreciated joining @DeepakAnandMPP for an engaging classroom visit at @champlaintrail Public School. Consistently, these students have demonstrated local leadership, generosity, and kindness. Great to see their excitement to return to in-person learning in September!

We are saddened to hear about the horrific, hate-motivated attack that took place over the weekend on a Muslim family in London, Ontario. Islamophobia has no place in our community. We stand in solidarity with those of the Muslim faith and others impacted by this tragedy.

Today is Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! Be sure to take a moment to give your neighbourhood crossing guards a virtual thank you for all that they do to ensure the safety of students.

Learning happens all year round!

Beginning Monday, May 31, the PDSB will lower flags at all buildings as a sign of collective mourning for the 215 children whose remains were found at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, BC.
