I have spoken to Senator Osotsi’s team and confirmed that he was viciously attacked and injured in Kisumu earlier today when he went to get a haircut. The Senator is being airlifted to Nairobi as we speak. Whilst we wait further details, I strongly condemn this attack and ask the Police for immediate action on those responsible.

I think H.E @WILLIAMSRUTO has the opposition leaders where he wants...he is defining them for the public and paints them UGLY. He persistently tells Kenyans that they are a "bunch of tribal bigots with no agenda for Kenyans." I think the opposition kingpins need to push back and tell Kenyans who they are and what they stand for. These are the issues some of them should address: 1. Hon Rigathi Gachagua should tell Kenyans that it isn't true as widely alleged that the Kikuyu language will replace kiswahili as Kenya's national language and that his cabinet will not have 21 members from Mt. Kenya region. 2. Hon Kalonzo Musyoka should finally share a vision for Kenya and tell us whether his backbone has grown stronger with age. 3. Dr. Fred Matiang'i should tell Kenyans that he isn't Uhuru's puppy and promise Kenyans that River Yala will be drained and victims given a decent burial. 4. CJ Maranga should come out openly and disapprove of the claim that his government will legalise JurisPESA but make it VAT exempt. 5. Hon Justin Muturi should state very clearly that he wants to be the president of Kenya. He has a grand vision for Kenya, and the Governor for Embu is a village seat for a former AG and Speaker of the National Assembly. 6. Hon Martha Karua SC is fairly known, and her track record is fairly solid. I think Kenyans know where she stands on the issues. But maybe she needs to address whether she will hold both offices if elected...that is the office of President and that of leader of the opposition. 7. ...and that Ma candidate (unable to get his name. Probably my friend Sen @ledamalekina should help me)...what can he say? I think he should continue being quiet so that Kenyans think he is in deep thought/reflections! 8. Lastly, the opposition need a token Muslim face in their ranks...this shouldn't be difficult. Get a former MCA or those miraa chewing X mps lodging in Eastleigh with a white kanzu and nice Islamic Kufi hat.
