You can absolutely disagree with the government and hold them accountable that's the essence of democracy. But when someone lashes out at India simply because we refuse to yield to external pressure or compromise our national interests, it’s our duty to stand by the country. Sadly, our Opposition leader chooses to smile through it. Moments like these make you wish someone like Shashi Tharoor was leading the charge instead.

After having ruined the country's economy and failed in protecting #minorities, the #Bangladesh interim ruler #Yunus now stokes controversy with India. By insinuating that China cut through Indian territory to connect with Bangladesh for port access, he further isolates himself.

Flew @airindia from MAA to BLR. I was super impressed with quality of service all around. The person on check in counter was very helpful. The boarding staff was kind & courteous. The cabin crew served breakfast in record time of 30 minutes. All of this for $21 ticket price.

@BCCI @ImRo45 #TeamIndia #T20Cricket Team India needs to change its strategy. Expend dispensable mercenaries upfront instead of wasting them unused. If mercenaries succeed, great total. Otherwise, veterans can stabilize later.

Looking at the misinformed propagandists comments on this post sheds more light on the kind of people we are dealing with here! Talking facts: As recent as May 2023 the Israeli government has approved the full list of employees working for UNRWA. Few weeks ago UNRWA unlawfully fired all employees accused by Israel of being Hamas members or even empathizing with Hamas, UNRWA fired them without investigations just for the sake of the Zionist state!! What else do they want!!! They keep saying UNRWA is supporting Hamas. Watch this reports to get a bit of the truth into your ears!! youtu.be/tqG2yeF_4sg

@BillAckman @MIT IMO, BI chose wrong person to pick a fight. BTW, what is BI’s need to exhibit such unfair behavior. Even if they had legitimate case, giving 90 minutes to respond seems like a well planned ambush. Go get them Bill.

A fun fact: Our lawyers used the Wayback Machine to check @MIT's plagiarism policy back when Neri wrote her thesis in 2009. It turns out that MIT's academic integrity handbook did not require citation or even mention Wikipedia until 2013, four years after Neri wrote her dissertation and used Wikipedia for the definitions of 15 words and/or terms. Bear in mind that 2009 was still pretty early days for Wikipedia. Interestingly, Business Insider also used the Wayback Machine to research MIT's plagiarism policy, but only when they cited it to manufacture plagiarism claims against Neri: "MIT’s academic integrity handbook notes that authors must either “use quotation marks around the words and cite the source,” or “paraphrase or summarize acceptably and cite the source.” Identical language appeared in MIT’s handbook at least as far back as 2007." [From Business Insider's initial email to Pershing Square of Jan. 3, 2014, 1030pm] What are the chances that Business Insider examined the MIT handbook "as far back as 2007" and didn't notice that there was no requirement to cite Wikipedia nor was it even mentioned until April 4, 2013 when the following language was added: "Wikipedia is Not a Reliable Academic Source Many of us use Wikipedia as a source of information when we want a quick explanation of something.  However, Wikipedia or other wikis, collaborative information sites contributed to by a variety of people, are not considered reliable sources for academic citation, and you should not use them as sources in an academic paper. The bibliography published at the end of the Wikipedia entry may point you to potential sources. However do not assume that these sources are reliable – use the same criteria to judge them as you would any other source. Do not consider the Wikipedia bibliography as a replacement for your own research." To be clear, Neri did not use Wikipedia as a source, but only for the definitions of 15 words and/or terms for her dissertation. While there was no way for us to do this research in the 91 minutes we were given before Business Insider published its story, our lawyers found it in about 24 hours. This finding wipes away 15, or more than half of the plagiarism claims made by Business Insider at 5:19pm last Friday night. According to the Cornell Law Legal Information Institute: In order to prove "prima facie defamation," "a plaintiff must show four things: 1) a false statement purporting to be fact; 2) publication or communication of that statement to a third person; 3) fault amounting to at least negligence; and 4) damages, or some harm caused to the reputation of the person or entity who is the subject of the statement." This leads me to a few question for the @X legal community. If you look at all of the evidence that has emerged over the last few days, do you think Neri has been defamed under the four factor test above? What exposure does Axel Springer have to claims at Business Insider in light of the fact that it has been on personal notice from me at a board and CEO level about Business Insider's wrongdoing for more than 54 hours and it has yet to issue a corrected statement about its investigation nor de-published the articles. Axel Springer has not updated its statement that: “While the facts of the reports have not been disputed, over the past few days questions have been raised about the motivation and the process leading up to the reporting — questions that we take very seriously" Do you think the facts have been sufficiently disputed? I have two questions for the private equity and finance communities: What is the net worth of Business Insider? What is the net worth of Axel Springer?

My wife, @NeriOxman, was just contacted by Business Insider claiming that they have identified other plagiarism in her work including 15 examples in her dissertation where she did not cite Wikipedia as a source. Business Insider told us that they are publishing their story this evening. As a result, we don't have time to research their claims prior to publication. It is unfortunate that my actions to address problems in higher education have led to these attacks on my family. This experience has inspired me to save all news organizations from the trouble of doing plagiarism reviews. We will begin with a review of the work of all current @MIT faculty members, President Kornbluth, other officers of the Corporation, and its board members for plagiarism. We will be using MIT's own plagiarism standards which can be found here: integrity.mit.edu/handbook/what-… We will share our findings in the public domain as they are completed in the spirit of transparency.

@narendramodi Kudos to your leadership for bringing normalcy to J&K. Even though I am US citizen, as a kid growing up in TN, India, Article 370 always troubled me. I am glad it is resolved now. IMO, this is single most important accomplishment since independence. Keep up the good work.

Today's Supreme Court verdict on the abrogation of Article 370 is historic and constitutionally upholds the decision taken by the Parliament of India on 5th August 2019; it is a resounding declaration of hope, progress and unity for our sisters and brothers in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The Court, in its profound wisdom, has fortified the very essence of unity that we, as Indians, hold dear and cherish above all else. I want to assure the resilient people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh that our commitment to fulfilling your dreams remains unwavering. We are determined to ensure that the fruits of progress not only reach you but also extend their benefits to the most vulnerable and marginalised sections of our society who suffered due to Article 370. The verdict today is not just a legal judgment; it is a beacon of hope, a promise of a brighter future and a testament to our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united India. #NayaJammuKashmir

@espn @NFL Why are non playing personnel on sidelines touching opposing players? Ejecting a player impacts the game but ejecting non player doesn’t. That is unfair. Please remove all non player personnel except coaches from sidelines. #FTTB

@NotDravid @BCCI @ImRo45 Congratulations on unbeaten streak in #CWC2023 & good luck in Semis & Finals. Continue winning streak.. - Great disciplined bowling. - Great batting depth; keep concentration. - Fielding is sloppy. Dropped catches & midfields could prove costly.

@DanaDiFilippo @NJMonitor How can you be journalist spreading lies? Temples don’t ask for caste ID. Try yourself. “Yet many temples exclude low-caste people, denying them entry and forbidding their participation in rituals and events, he added. Caste bias doesn’t disappear at the temple doors, he added.”

@49ers This loss is entirely on egotistical Kyle Shanahan’s bone headed offensive play calling. Purdy holding the ball long against Browns defense is fundamentally flawed. Quick screen passes and outside runs were key to score but totally missing. #FTTB

@49ers #FTTB This loss is entirely on offensive play calling Kyle Shanahan. Defense did well but offense failed miserably due to bone headed play calling. Short screen passes & outside runs were missing. Letting Purdy hold the ball long against this defense is a mistake.

@49ers #FTTB Play smart; Offensive play calling sucks. We need quick short screen passes against rushers. Looking for deep passes against good defense is asking for trouble - Sacks & Interceptions. Get your act together.
