I wouldn't say cant, he probably wont. But offering direct partnered access to some of the richest reserves on the planet for rare earth and energy. That is a solid offer worth considering. Maybe an accident happens on a plane Zelensky is on and the new leadership is more amendable to giving up the territory Russia wants. 🥷

@X22Report Trump can’t just drop the sanctions without an end to the “war.” This is really upping the game though!

It does exist in natural resources that Putin is offering access to, especially rare earth minerals and other critical materials through joint projects with the U.S. The more important thing is Russia potentially returning to using the U.S. dollar for settlements and trade. If we lose the petrodollar system and broader international reliance on the dollar for money exchanges, our currency could face serious weakening or even long-term decline. We should be looking at ways to bring our countries together after this war is over.

Russia hasn't offered $12 trillion because $12 trillion doesn't exist in any form Russia can deliver. What they've offered: sanctions relief framework where US companies get access to Russian energy and resources in exchange for legitimizing territorial gains in Ukraine. This is Putin betting Trump values appearing to make deals over maintaining strategic alliances. Based on the first term, it's not a bad bet. The question is whether anyone in the administration understands they're trading long-term strategic position for short-term optics of dealmaking.

Senator Thune, I mean this in earnest: The American people are angry. We gave you the majority. We gave Republicans the White House, House, and Senate. President Trump is doing his job. The House is doing its job. The Senate is failing to act. Ron DeSantis sure sounds like he is queuing up a 2028 run for President, and I like how he is tailoring his message to be pro-MAGA w/o slobbering over Trump too much: "You can't go say, 'well, we Republicans won this district by 10 points. So therefore, we're going to win it' - because President TRUMP is the reason you won by 10 points!" You don't own the airspace above your land beyond the immediate reaches that you can reasonably use or occupy in connection with your property (like up to roughly the height of your tallest structure or tree). Higher up, it's considered navigable airspace that's open to the public, like a highway in the sky regulated by the FAA. You also don't exclusively own navigable waters that run through your property—the public generally has rights to use them for navigation, recreation, and other purposes, even though the underlying land might be private. And yeah, it's a federal violation (and potentially a crime) to shoot down a drone. The FAA classifies drones as aircraft, so shooting at one is illegal under federal law—like damaging an aircraft—and can lead to serious fines, penalties, or even jail time.
